Forums!
Greetings all! I hope by now your DNS has updated and you should have gotten a chance to see the new site/read the big announcement. I wanted to remind everyone that the new forums are prepped and ready to accept new members. I want to take a moment to welcome Steven "h3ll/gdisteve" as our first TXG member to sign up on the new boards and say hi.
I went ahead and changed the "forums" link to point directly to our TXG Computer and Video Games forum so that it would be more apparent that you are indeed in the right place when you click on forums. You are of course still welcome to post in all areas of the forums, but I wanted to bring the above image to your attention to remind everyone to come over and say hi in the welcoming stickies.

Welcome to the NEW TXG!
Welcome all to the brand freakin' new TXG website!
TXG officially launched in January of 2009 and has seen it's share of successes and failures. We went from a small North Texas Website to building a network state wide and supporting dozens of Gaming Centers and LAN Parties all within our first year. The Texan Gamer has been placed at the help to manage and operate the official QuakeCon Community Competitions two years in a row, and has provided countless hours of support to gaming efforts over the past two years.
As with everything, people have come and gone, and our visions has changed considerably from when we first opened the doors. Most of us have more going on in our lives than just gaming, and we are looking for a simple yet effective outlet to share ideas and stay close. To help with this new vision, we have decided it would be easiest to wipe the slate clean and start from scratch. With that, I bring you the all new TXG Network! We have a newly redesigned homepage, twitter account, Facebook page, and all new forums.
Keeping with the theme of having more than just gaming in our lives, we have merged our forums with DFWMustangs.net. This forum is already going strong and hosts a place to discuss not only games and computers, but cars, guns, working out, political debate and MUCH more. We are proud to join such a well rounded and active user base. Do to the extreme variances in each board - you will need to re-create your forum account. Look for a sticky in our home forum for details on how to regain your join date and post count. Our home base will be "The Texan Gamer Computer and Gaming Center" forum - however feel free to roam around and post everywhere including the off topic form labeled "The Back Porch"
Look for more exciting announcements coming soon!
